SHAFT DRIVEN SCREENS
DIRECT DRIVE SCREENS
TECHROQ vibrating screens are designed to adapt most screening applications. With over 30 years of experience, we can give the end user various options to optimize the efficiency of their requirements. Our range varies from shaft driven to direct drive screens. We do direct footprint match replacements of existing screens which give the customer flexibility without alerting any structures. Various options are available for screens only, complete structure, chutes and underpans. Our products are all confirmed with F.E.A (Finite Element Analysis) to ensure the stresses and forces exerted are within specifications.
TECHROQ vibrating screens supplied are quite extensive and great care goes into each project to ensure the equipment is fabricated within the customers’ requirements and that expectations are met as far as possible.
We ensure that all critical parts are stress relieved, adequate grade of materials is used and tested before leaving our premises.
SHAFT DRIVEN SCREENS
FEATURES & BENEFITS
- Shaft driven screens are declined, precision machined drive shaft with two fully encapsulated spherical roller bearings considered as a heavy duty screen.
- Designed for wet or dry coarse aperture screening of sand, gravel, crushed stone, all kinds of ores, coal, slag and many more other industrial screening applications.
- The vibration is produced by an off-centre machined shaft, journaled in two heavy duty, greaselubricated, roller bearings which carry bolt-on counterweights. Counterweights are adjusted to create desired circular motion.
- The skid frame is made of structural steel and consists of screen decks of welded construction – (stress relieved) for supporting the screen cloth, reinforcing steel side plates and back plates for closing the upper or feed end.
- The back plates are split and incorporate rubber insulation curtains for easy removal and quick screen cloth changes.
- The screen trays are made of heavy plate side members to which are welded heavy cross channels or rectangular steel tubes. These cross members carry longitudinal bars capped with nosing rubber on which the wire cloth rests.
- The trays and end plates are bolted to the side plates with hi-tensile 8.8 or huck bolts which provide a rigid and strong structure.
- Shaft Driven Vibrating Screens are available in single, double, and triple deck. Every screen is carefully constructed, assembled and shop tested before leaving our factory.
DIRECT DRIVE SCREENS
FEATURES & BENEFITS
- Direct drive screens are single (liner motion) or twin (circular motion) vibratory motor driven
- Single, double and triple deck
- Sizing, washing, dewatering or scalping
- Manufacturing per application to accommodate various commodities
- Heavy duty construction for most screening applications
- The deck frame is fabricated, welded construction (Stress relieved) for supporting the screening media: Wire mesh, PU, or Rubber panels
- The plates are split for easy removal and quick screen cloth changes. The screen cross supports are made out of channel or heavy-duty steel tubes to which end plates are welded onto
- The cross members carry longitudinal bars capped with nosing rubber on which the wire cloth rests or 3CR12T-bar runners for PU screen media
- The trays and end plates are bolted to the side plates with hi-tensile Grade 8.8″ or huck bolts which provide a rigid and strong structure
- Direct Drive Vibrating Screens are available in single, double, and triple deck. Every screen is carefully constructed, assembled and shop tested before leaving our factory
- Direct Drive Screens powered by vibrator motor/s which supply the motive forces necessary for the equipment to perform its requirements
- Other model ranges can be suspended or foot mounted or a combination of suspension and foot mounting arrangements
- Depending on model size and application of the equipment mountings can be either rubber isolators or coil springs
- Techroq Engineering indicate on all drawings the type suspension isolators and quantities required
- Depending on the application, screens are supplied with either one or two vibrating motors
- Vibratory motors are sized in accordance with application requirements
